Welcome one more day to another entry!

Today I am going to share with you a new way of introducing a topic to your students!

This new way is by podcast! 

I think this is really funny for children because it is something different and different things can engaged them a lot. I think that podcasting is something useful for children, but not only for them, also for parents. Because, if you send the link to them in order to listen it in house, they can see your work and how to teach them and evaluate them, which is something that parents always ask.

So as to make easier for you to get started in podcasting I am going to share with you the steps that I have follow:
  • First, I have organized the information that I want to share.
  • After that, I have write a script.
  • Then, you have to choose the tool for record your voice. (I recommend you Audacity).
  • Finally, I have upload the audio. I have used Soundcloud as it is really easy to use.
Here, I leave my plan for an audio project as a example and the links to my Soundcloud podcast and the playlist. I hope you like it and you could find it useful for your class plans, and also give you ideas for your teaching.

 STORYBOARD A VIDEO PROJECT Welcome one more day to my learning journal! I am here today to talk about something that I used in previous entries which is STORYBOARD  (you can read my blog entry about this tool here !). But today the purpose is not the same, because now we have to complete a storyboard for a short video clip that we will later record and is something that we are going to do in groups. The steps we have followed to create the Storyboard are: In the first place, we thought about a esay topic to be represented and interesting for children. Secondly, we designed the main goals.  Then, we created the script of our future video. Finally, we thought in the future purpose odf the outcome. Our Storyboard consist of explaining children the Spanish Imperialism - How the territory of Spain was divided, the successors of the Catholic Monarchs until the early eighteenth century, that is, the Greater Austrias and the Lesser Austrias, and, their possessions and reign...

COMIC   Good afternoon friends! Today I am going to talk about a tool to create comics. It uses is very easy, you can choose first the scene and later the characters, shapes and lot of things more. The free version allow you to create comics with only six cells, so it can be a problem.  It has lots of different scenes and characters and you can also edit their clothes, their colour, their pose... Our teacher have gave us other tools to create comics and I haved a look them but they are so complicated for me... So, I finally have used  STORYBOARD . But, if someone wants to trry with others here are their names: Pixton Creaza If you continue reading you can read my comic creation. I have created one comic helping my students feel more confident with my subject. The idea is to start the subject showing this comic and making the questions that appear in the last cell.  I hope you like it!
