THE SPANISH IMPERIALISM

Good afternoon again ICT lovers! 

As a I have said in my previous entry (here it is!), in groups, we had to record ourselves representing our Storyboard about Spanish Imperialism, which is its title of the video.

After the steps we have followed to make the Storyboard (explained in the previous blog entry), we continue with the following steps:
  • First of all, we have created a new script for the video clip.
  • After that, we have assigned ourselves the characters.
  • Then, we rehearsed our characters.
  • Next, we recorded the video.
  • Lastly, the video was been edited with Filmora, which is a tool for that.
When I was a primary and secondary student I hated History subject. It was so boring for me... Now, I think that it was because teacher was talking during an hour and I slept. The aim of this task is to contextualize a complex concept in a enjoyable way.

As a result of the topic, this video will be used with fifth graders in Social Science subject.

You can use it in different ways (all that you want) but I recommend you to use it in order to provide students with the theoretical framework of the unit. They will watch the video in their houses and when they go to class next day, they will work with tasks and activities prepared by the teacher in order to consolidate contents.
